How we work

We are delighted to have you on board as we embark on the journey of transforming your space. This document outlines our process to help guide you through the design experience — here is what to expect when working with us.

Our Process

From first conversation to handover

01

Initial consultation (virtual or in-person)

We always start with an initial consultation, which allows us to get a sense of your style, preferences, and needs. During this session we will:

  • Discuss your project scope — space layout, colour preferences, and materials.
  • Review any inspiration you might have (e.g. Pinterest boards, mood boards).
  • Address any functional requirements.
  • Estimate the project timeline and discuss budgets.
02

Design proposal & quotation

Once the consultation is completed, we provide a customised design proposal tailored to your requirements. This includes:

  • Mood boards, colour palettes, and 2D or 3D designs.
  • Space planning and layout options.
  • A detailed quotation for design services and execution costs — furniture, fittings, civil works and decor.
03

Project execution

Upon your approval of the design proposal, we proceed to execution:

  • Procurement and manufacturing of materials and furniture.
  • Supervision of contractors and artisans.
  • Full project management to ensure timelines and budgets are adhered to.
04

Post-project review

Once the project is completed, we conduct a final walkthrough to ensure everything is to your satisfaction. Minor adjustments can be made at this stage if necessary. After that we hand over the site to you and close out the project.

Our Pricing

Design fees — priced per room

Design fees cover space planning, material sourcing, and detailed visual presentations. They do not include the cost of purchasing furniture, fixtures, or project management.

Example 2D design sheet — living room with furniture composition and keymap
2D sample — Living Room

Each room is presented as a full 2D sheet like these — a furniture composition with a room keymap, so you can see exactly what you are receiving.

3D Visualisation

₦400,000

per room

Example 3D visualisation — master closet and study with built-in wardrobes, vanity and study nook
3D sample — Master Closet & Study

Each room is also presented as a 3D visualisation like these — a true-to-scale, photorealistic view of the finished space, so you can see the materials, lighting and layout before anything is made or bought.

These rates apply to all types of spaces — residential, commercial, retail and hospitality. Where a project requires a more complex design, the quote will reflect the full scope of work.

Please note:

  • All fees are quoted in NGN.
  • A 60% deposit is required to commence work.
  • Fees cover design services only — procurement and project management are scoped separately.
  • Should the client proceed to full project execution with Icora Interiors, a percentage of the design fee is credited toward the final project bill. If the client chooses not to proceed, the design fee is non-refundable; however, the client retains full rights to use the designs with contractors of their choice.
